Sunday, 9/13/2026 to Saturday, 9/19/2026 --- IN PROGRESS

I walked 3 times this week, 3.60 miles.
I ran x times this week, x miles.
I took x steps this week according to my Garmin Venu smartwatch.
My Venu gives me steps, heart rate and floors climbed (take that last data point with a grain of salt). My Withings WS-50 Smart Body Analyzer scale gives my weight. All weather conditions are from the Greater Rochester International Airport (KROC) which is 13.3 miles away.

WALKING/RUNNING: I have a swollen right knee that I ignore. My PCP said that since there is no pain to just watch it. He thinks that it may be that the leg muscle is outside of the ligaments that should surround it (which makes it puffy looking). I also can't run more than 50 to 100 strides (4 steps/stride) before I have to stop to catch my breath. I either have developed asthma or allergies (something for my PCP to think out when I have my physical on October 22nd). I also have a cough due to phlegm running down my throat. But ... who knows? It might be something a whole lot more serious. So ... I might not sign up for any more races.

Walk/Run electronics: I use my Garmin Venu for runs and walks. I listen to my TechNet bone conduction headphones, link here.
.
BTW, I am on a 2265-day steak (since 6/24/2020 or 6 years, 2 months) of either a walk, run or bike of greater than 1 mile (as of Saturday night, 9/13). There were more than a few days when a mile was all I could walk or limp.

4661 steps, 49/112 resting/max HR, 185.2/184.5 pounds, 5 floors climbed
Walk: 0.5 mile, 7:26, 14:57 pace, 77F, 79% RH, 13 mph WSW wind, mostly cloudy
Shoes: white Brooks Glycerin GTS21 - 533.35 miles
Walk: 1.05 mile, 14:20, 13:40 pace, 77F, 79% RH, 13 mph WSW wind, mostly cloudy
Shoes: white Brooks Glycerin GTS21 - 534.40 miles
I screwed up on this walk. I paused my Garmin and then forgot to check it until I got out to Latta Rd. So, it's 2 walks ... big whoop. Whatever ... a walk is a walk.
The Bills started off their season with a road game down to Houston to face the Texans. It was a hard fought game ... and they won 31-36. The Bills were behind 31-30 late in the 4th quarter but Josh led them down the field and passed to wide open Palmer. They missed the 2 point conversion but held them off by forcing a QB fumble to seal the win. Josh ran for 2 TDs and passed for 2 TDs.

I got out for a walk on my "Out to Latta Rd" route. My right knee was a bit dodgy for the first half of it. But I got it done. My splits were 15:11, 15:10 and 15:15 over the last 0.05 mile.
