I ran x times this week, x miles (I was sort of medically cleared to run really easy ... I think)
I took x steps this week according to my Garmin Venu smartwatch.
My Venu gives me steps, heart rate and floors climbed (take that last data point with a grain of salt). My Withings WS-50 Smart Body Analyzer scale gives my weight. All weather conditions are from the Greater Rochester International Airport (KROC) which is 13.3 miles away.
MEDICAL: I went to my PCP on Tuesday, 9/22/26. My running had declined (a 5K of 9:15 on 7/19 to getting winded going upstairs in 2 months) along with a cough for about 3 months or longer. I had an overnight stay on 9/22/26 at the Unity Health Hospital with blood tests, a chest X-ray, EKG, CAT scan and an ultrasound of my legs. So ... I found out that I have a deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in my left leg and a bilateral chest embolism (clots). I am on Eliquis to reduce the blood clots probably at least the next 6 months. I felt better on Eliquis in about 3 days.

I had another Rheumatology appointment to look at my swollen right knee on 10/12. The doc said that she is sure that I have psoriatic arthritis and put me on Methotrexate (6x once a week) along with a daily folic acid pill to try to reduce my swollen right knee as well as maybe reduce the psoriasis on my elbows.
WALKING/RUNNING: I had my annual physical on 10/22. My PCP examined me and advised me to listen to my body when it comes to running. I guess I will try to run a mile a week and see what happens.
ELECTRONICS: I use my Garmin Venu for runs and walks. I listen to my TechNet bone conduction headphones, link here.

BTW, I was on a 2281-day steak (since 6/24/2020 or 6 years, almost 4 months) of either a walk, run or bike of greater than 1 mile until 6/21/2026. A hospital stay on 9/22/2026 kept me in. My new streak is up to 39 days (as of Saturday night, 10/31).

I felt crappy most of the day. I dragged my carcass out for a "picking up trash" walk on my "Out to Ling Rd" route. I found two golf balls and three cans, so I made 15 cents. My splits were 14:09 and 16:36 over the last 0.85 mile.
